The product is very smooth and soothing. I found it to help w/general skin itching/irritability. It is a little oily and therefore can stain underwear.

I tried these NewLife Naturals Vaginal Probiotic Suppositories on the advice of a post-menopausal friend that uses them. I do like how well they work. Being post-menopausal, I know that you will experience dryness, more UTI's, imbalance, etc. These suppositories seem to really help with all of those symptoms. Being free from estrogen, artificial additives, parabens, and fragrances are important to me since those ingredients can just cause more problems. These suppositories are made of vegetable oil so they will melt easy. Mine came during the summer and I had to refrigerate them immediately. So, I did have some leakage in the package. The good thing is the way they are packaged; the suppositories do keep their shape if they do get a little too hot. And when you go to insert them, don't hold them in your hand long unless you want to see how fast they will dissolve. (I just had to know, and I found out it was pretty quick. Yeah, my advice, don't try that.) You do not have to use an applicator with these, but I did find a type that worked with these really well.It's nice that these contain a shelf-stable probiotics, prebiotic fiber to feed good bacteria, and lactic acid that helps to restore vaginal ph. Using these really did seem to help. The directions say to use them every few days or when needed. That said 1 box should last a month or more, but these are still a little over my normal budget. I might buy them when I can, but not every month. These are cheaper than some other ones that I looked at though.Overall, these work well and do exactly what they claim. These are reasonably priced for most people and worth it if you need them.

Worked great to replenish after boric acid therapy.

I did not have a good reaction to this product. The day after using this, I began experiencing burning and discomfort that lasted for quite a few days. I was not having any symptoms before I used this. I was taking it for extra support, in addition to oral probiotics, because I was taking antibiotics for a tooth infection. I have read of others who have had negative reactions to vaginal suppository probiotics, even when they were made of relatively safe, healthy ingredients. But I have also read of many others who had good and helpful results. I'm going to assume I am not in that camp, but I will not say that this is a 'bad product,' just that it's not a good product for me.
